Yes, very informative . I am a grandmother and SBS had not been researched or discovered when I was raising my children. So watching the video provided me with a lot information about the causes and affects. I will definitely make sure that SBS information is posted in my facility and the measures we take to ensure a child's safety.

This video was very informative as I am a second time mother to be, and I am also within the near future (next two years) looking to open my own family day care center. From having watched this video clip, I have taken aware some very vital mental tools that will allow for me to deal with the possible levels of stress that can be reached not only from the standpoint of a childcare provider but a parent. I am grateful for the opportunity for the learning tools that have been presented to me both in text and visual as It is preparing me for a great endeavor that I am embarking upon... an entrepreneur as a licensed childcare provider and owner. Thank You! -Respectfully, Harriet Hill

Jatoria Evans Being a mother of 4 I know it can be overwhelming at time. Dealing with crying especially, but going into the situation with a clear head can make the situation better.Asking what wrong or observing the cry & behavior could help figure out whats wrong. My daughter cry a lot for different thing incorporating a routine into her schedule help me reduce the crying a little. I just learned a lot I never will shake a baby but good information to know. Patience is the key.

All babies have different cries as that is the only way they are able to communicate their needs. As a provider you have to learn the babies cries so you will know what the child's need is. Crying can go on for long periods of times for different reasons, however a child maybe colic which makes them fussy and cries more than a non colicie baby. Colic baby cries start to wind down when they are about 4 months. Parents and the caregiver need to work together so the child can receive all the love and support they need during this tough time. It is important that during the times where babies are crying it is important that as the caregiver you remain calm. It is important to know that it is okay to walk away after you have put the baby in a safe place so you can calm yourself down. TyQuwanda Buchanan

baby is tired, baby will cry. any reasonable animal/person is tired, said animal/person will fall asleep. Im pretty sure our extinction will be caused by our dislike of our own offspring. it sure explains the declining birthrates, who has energy to deal with 24/7 screaming.

Maybe, but it could be the fact that nobody can make a living with their pay check and refuse to bring children into their situation when they know they can barely take care of themselves.
