Kelly, you are the master at creating gorgeous, one layer cards! “If I have to explain rainbows we can’t be friends” literally made me spew cold Dr Pepper through my nostrils.... burns so badly, but I was laughing hysterically!! 😤 🤪 You’re also the master with fantastic, humorous quips, as are many of us in the medical profession, plus humor soothes the soul for many people. I think it’s a form of coping, given the tragic, heart breaking experiences we deal with daily, plus it helps break the ice amongst strangers! Thanks so much for sharing “story time”, what an inconvenience about the car wreck, thankfully no one was injured, you were a lot more patient and nicer that I would have been with her continued outlandish requests! ❤️

I'm totally in love with this Shaker card and how you colored with counter top & placed black line across the card! Kelly, I so wanted to purchase all the candy stamp and die sets along with candy sprinkles etc.! I saw the release and had planned to purchase after Dr. appt but ended up hospitalized! I bent over while sitting on chair and heard & felt rib snap! I'm immune compromised/reverse isolation from mold exposure and only leave my home for dr. appt. testing & surgery 29th was in April! I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/regional pain syndrome from MVA in 89 that wasn't dx. until 97 and on Fentanyl pain patch! My Dr. stated an x-ray wasn't enough since I had Splenomegaly, left sided lymph edema/enlarged lymph nodes in abdomen/groin down left leg! I have to see my Oncologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center for more testing and ? surgery!! Once home multiple company's released stamp & die sets and holiday sales!! My craft $$ is depleted, so I need a big sale! I'm glad you are okay after MVA ! I hope you enjoy your weekend down the lake! Three things. One I love this card. Two English people say Wus-ter. They never say Worcestershire. So dont bother trying. Three I live in south Africa so I cant take up the mystery box offer. If I lived in the US I would be in like a shot - with a card! I cant so I'm going off to sulk for a while 🤣

So sorry to hear you were in a car accident! But I am glad the woman accepted responsibility and paid for the repairs. I also like the idea of mystery boxes. I don't know that I NEED any more stamps/dies/stencils (yes, blasphemy, I know! LOL), but I would get a box if only to get a handmade card from you! :) And I actually do have more storage space for stencils, so that could actually be pretty cool. Stamps & dies--not so much, but I think I could make room by shuffling stuff around. I actually have my own little "purge" pile, but no one really to purge to. I still have to figure out something for that. :P So glad Eric is willing and able to help you with that. I also love your card today! I think making it a shaker, despite extra effort to stick down all those pieces of foam tape, is soooo worth it. And I think it works so well that you channeled your inner Kristina and made a larger card. Much better than trying to cram all the things on a smaller "canvas." :) Anyway, thanks for sharing everything--card, stories, etc.--and have a great day! :)

It was a good thing there was not additional damage because I get the feeling it would of been hard to get any more payment from her. Back to the card. Amazing card as always. There are a lot of great artists on KZbin but yours are my favorite. I would go for a mystery box and to have a card you made included in the box would be a big bonus like double icing on the cake. Mystery Boxes!!! So fun! Love it, I am also doing mystery boxes of my stuff, right now, I am doing mystery boxes but with all crafting supplies from all different companies, the people that have been getting them are surprised at how much is in the box, so from seeing how excited people are loving mine, they will totally love yours times 10! Gorgeous!!! Just love this . You make putting together a shaker card look so easy. I've tried once, but it wasn't too successful. Maybe time to try again.
