Great video, shaker is a wise choice. If you make another video on shaker, you might show a traditional shaker cabinet with face frame and flush inset doors. Like that beautiful power blue kitchen on your facebook page.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment and suggestion. This coming week I will post a video on making and using floating shelves. I make one and install it. Perhaps I will make an inset shaker cabinet and show how to install the door using traditional butt hinges in an upcoming video. :)

That may be true for some, but I sell a many kitchens a year and White Shaker is the most requested, followed by Grey Shaker. Trends will change when the market is saturated.

@priceandpride: agreed. Door mouldings trap grease, dust and dirt. I really don't want to clean my kitchen cupboards with a toothbrush. Give me a high gloss flat front any day. America seems fixated on the Shaker style - it's on every makeover show - and says safe and dull to me.
