Hey-up Karl, A great easy to follow vid, thanks. I know you are a joiner and make a living from it but after watching you over your time on this channel, I can see without a doubt that your skills continue to improve. I am not anywhere near your skill set ( and will never be) but I enjoy my hobby of working with wood and you have helped me no end. In my view, probably the best channel (for me) on KZbin. I hope your subs go through the roof mate, regards, Fred

Have you considered a 1/4inch router groove bit rather than the 6mm table saw blade? That will give you the extra width to accommodate the panel better?
@karlpopewoodcraft2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mathew yes I have done it that way, I just seem to be able to fly through it this way.

Hi, really inspired by this video. I am currently searching out circular saws for this job and notice you have dewalt model. I am struggling to find the correct thicker 6mm blades or know which circular saw can take this?I spoke to one big store in London and the chap suggested you can't really get them any more. Any advice? Cheers.
@karlpopewoodcraft10 ай бұрын
Hi do you mean the 6mm kerf groving blade I use in my Dewalt dw745 table saw? If yes these blades are readily available on amazon. I'll pop a link for the one i use below.

Cool, does your saw take any special adaptation to fit that blade or something that can be used in any good saw as long as it's got the same bore etc? I ask because I am trying to make sure the saw I buy will take this type of blade.
@karlpopewoodcraft10 ай бұрын
@@RichardSnow-m2r these blades don't need any fancy adaptations as long as the bore size is correct game on.
