@Woodwizard007 This is me working in my workshop my way I'm not telling anyone to copy me, I'm using my machines safely and I'm responsible for my own safety as you are for yours. This content is not for children or vulnerable people it's for competent adults who make their own decisions.
@Woodwizard0073 ай бұрын
@@karlpopewoodcraft Karl, I appreciate that what we do in our own workshops is down to us, but we do have a responsibility when it comes to influencing others who may well be untrained/unskilled when it comes to woodworking safety. I realise most US woodworkers will operate their table saws with crown guards removed, but here in the UK we're not complying with PUWER regs if we do the same. You could argue these regs don't apply to home workshops, but we should be recommending safe procedures, not encouraging others to take risks they could be blissfully unaware of. People will copy whatever they see on KZbin, whether they're sensible or not. Accidents can happen to pro woodworkers as well as absolute beginners... By the way, I watched your safety video and it's excellent!
