Didn't mean for the hymns to be so distracting...just didn't want to post a youtube video without some sound... so I picked some Shaker hymns to represent the "Shaker Heights" theme ...If looked at in a certain way the hymns have a related message (about doing what's right)...If you turn the sound off the presentation will still make sense...Thanks for your input and I will keep that in mind for any further projects.

Pull up some listings for these Shaker Heights homes in the Lomond area. You will find several properties for $30-40K that have been gutted by scrappers. Yet, the taxes are over $6K a year! You do the math and you can see why they are being torn down. I am sure some developer will build something new on the land when they are all knocked down and prices go back up.

It was to due to illegal lending practices, which caused foreclosures right and left. The government stepped in.

This is incredibly sad to see this happening in Shaker Heights. BTW, though I know that the Shaker hymns were a well meaning background, they are very distracting from the matter at hand.
