Poor Shaki. I don't recall ever hearing her speak. Today she is MOANING for her baby. But I understand why you were unable to to take her. I have two dogs who are very close. But one is a little wild and it is impossible to take them both to the vet at the same time. Jamil, you know what is best. You dedicate your life to animals and you know what is best for them. Wait and see how glad she will be when Shakina gets back home!! You can see JK looking for Shakina, too. He's the male - the protector - always on the lookout for the safety of his family! Edit: Wow, I just noticed how much her face changed from the calm content we always see with her and now how her face practically changed back to show the emotions that baby macaques seem to express. Brother Jamil, I want to tell you my friend, that this video in my opinion is the BEST EVER video I have seen in all the years from Shaki. And why do I say that you probably wonder. Well, for almost two years watching Shaki I have never seen her so emotional and usually we never get to hear her voice like that. This video is also special because it shows the amount of love and connection that Shaki has with Shakina and how much she is worried why suddenly Shakina disappeared. This is a real show of emotions of Shaki CALLING OUT for Shakina and hoping that she will hear her voice and come back to her. I only regret why you didn't catch on video how you came back and bring Shakina back to her. It was surely very interesting to see how Shaki was happy to see Shakina back. 💖💖💖

@@edgywagy145 Okay Edgy, you are probably right. Shaki is hurt about her baby not being where she can see her. Shaki has mother's intuition. Jamil did take Shakina to the vet.

I have heard this cry in the wild when a baby dies and the mother keeps calling for the baby. It seemed as if she was calling for the baby to come to her or she was distressed that the baby is gone. Two of the times I heard this was when her baby died and the people filming it took the baby before the mother was ready to leave it and buried it. I thought it was cruel to do this before she was done grieving it’s death. A mother will sometimes carry her baby for up to a week before she finally leaves it in the forest. One time I actually saw a mother carry her baby until it was almost all skeleton and then she ate it. I didn’t look this up but someone who studies monkeys said that they have seen this before. I hope you found this information informative.

@@deniseellis6175 exactly and I have also seen the opposite where the baby in the wild was crying uncontrollably and the mother ran to the baby and got it out of a bad situation. The mother knew immediately what direction to run to get her baby. There was a situation where a baby was in a small water tank (I am pretty sure the video guys put it in there for views) and both the baby and mother were crying until it was rescued by of course one of the video guys! This is why I don’t watch any of the videos out of Cambodia because so much is staged and the monkeys are injured or killed for views. There are two channels in Hong Kong that I watch because the two guys that film leave the monkeys alone and they just film them. Arroz Marisco and JW monkey are excellent to watch if you want to see them in the wild without interference.
