I wonder why he didn't come to the USA, I never heard of him until a month ago, his songs and pictures of him showed up on the internet. I googled him and found out he has been around for as long as I have, we are the same age. I'm saddened and shocked over this, we women(girls) would have put him up there with Elvis, but, Elvis is king. He could have been as famous, why did this happen??? He is so talented, his looks are drop dead gorgeous and a nice guy also.

My dad bought Shaky's Greatest Hits DVD for me when I was a kid. This & 'Give Me Your Heart Tonight' were the only tracks I would listen to repeatedly. This song its home for me everytime I listen to it, I don't know why, but I love it. Beautiful melodies with beautiful meanings, and the visuals only help boost its emotional impact.

my dad grew up on 51 marcross road, ely. just down the street from where shakin stevens lived. he told me that he can remember him stepping out of a limo dressed as elvis, from when he was an impersonator. not far down the road lived ryan giggs also. i now live not far from where tom jones grew up in treforrest, and my father has met him also, when he returned to treforist. and it was broadcasted on television . to me, the story of him living by shaking stevens is one of the coolest things my father has ever told me.
