He made so many great cover versions of old songs that were so much better than the songs' original versions.

Now with 62 today I was driving down our country roads and your song was playing! I have a severe broken shoulder and after 3 months on the way of recovery. Wenn ich dieses schöne Lied höre muss ich immer an etwas schönes Erinnern . Als ich noch Schülerin war und mit dem Bus zur Schule gefahren bin hat unser Busfahrer immer dieses Lied an. Ich glaube das war eine Kassette. Früher waren Kassetten voll in. Jeden Morgen hörte ich im Bus dieses Lied und das ist ein tolles Lied. Der Busfahrer hies Otto Beck. Es ist schon sehr lange her. Heute bin ich 51. Ich weis gar nicht ob er überhaupt noch lebt. Aber immernoch eine schöne Erinnerung 👍😊❤️
