Are we rock bottom? 60 year North supporter here, and the club has never been in a worse position in all my time. We may have been bad at times, but we were never weak & meek on a football field. The people who have made the big decisions between 2016-2024 are responsible for this mess, and if it continues then I can see the AFL pondering a Fitzroy-Brisbane Bears type scenario with North and Tasmania.

@@NorthPod I have seen poor North sides getting belted by bigger scores, but I have never seen "meek" North sides in my entire life until this year. We were always tough, even when we were crap.

I agree. North looks like an under 19's team playing against the seniors. It was never like this.

There isnt much leadership from the captains, surely Simpkin has to go back into the middle. Lazzaro would have to be in the best 22, Id make Tucker the sub,he gets the ball but his kicking is very ordinary. Fisher and Stephens were recruited as the kickers but dont seem to get it!

I would agree, from the outside, leadership does appear to be lacking from an example setting perspective. Hard to say re Lazzaro still but I would agree the recruits haven't moved the needle for us really!

Don't take it personally. Like the South Australians, I get the impression they don't like anyone, especially Victorians. Islanders are isolated. They would have a different world view. I'm sure the Hawaiians feel like that about mainlanders. When it comes to your club or Hawthorn, they were probably resentful that they had someone else's team dumped on them instead of having their own.
