They were released not on the vevo i assume, then artists had to rerelease it on vevo if i am not mistaken. At least that's was the case with Single Ladies , it had like half billion views when it was initially released then it had to be deleted lol just for that move

Belly dancing is an art, like ballet. There are base moves arm movements ect its not that that was the hottest dancing at the time. Its because Shakira was the ONLY ONE doing it and because she has been in the art since she was like 5 she is very good at it.

Her moves are organic, she says if a song doesn't make her body move then it doesn't work, for example for 《La Tortura》 when they finished the song she had to watch the videos recorded because she didn't have idea how she had moved in that way, So she had to rewatch and practice for the official video. In this video, hdl is absolutely a tribute to the Barranquilla's carnival (one of the most important festivals in our country)the costumes, the cumbia(what she danced with the other girls on white dresses, one of her best friends since school is dancing with her) She always does any reference to her roots but with hips don't lie she was beyond. 😂😂😂

Actually hips don't lie came up in 2004/05. KZbin released the video in it's platform on 2009. But this song was the global number one song of 2005 and is part of her álbum oral fixation volume 2 released that year 2005.
