small rant i guess? skip if you don’t wanna read. (have a nice rest of your day tho!!) Everyone is thinking about a specific person when they listen to this but for me it’s like multiple people. Every friendship I have always ends so abruptly. The first ever friend I made was a girl at the beach when I was about 5. I don’t remember much but I remember our parents talked and my mom said I’d see her again the next week but I never saw the girl again. From then on that’s how all of my friendships went. I’d meet them and I’d never see them again. This song just makes me really sad because we were always like “I cant wait to see you again” and then next thing you know that’s the last time I ever see them. I was lucky enough to have a small group of close friends but ever since I went to different schools it just doesn’t feel the same..? They tell me about all the other people they met and it makes me a little sad. I’ve always wanted one of those best friends that like never leave your side and you guys have been there for each other through everything, but like I said before I never get the opportunity to make those kinds of friends. I love my friend group but things just don’t feel the same. Being in an abusive house hold doesn’t help either. My mom is sexually and emotionally abusive. Because of this I grew up to be very emotionally unstable. I have mood swings like crazy and I cry over minor things. I don’t wanna go into detail about my mental health but some part of me feels like my personality and unstable emotions is what drives people away. Me and my friend group have had a lot of really bad arguments because of the way I am. My personality is my biggest insecurity, really because of all the habits I got from my mom. This got so off topic but overall I just wish I could have one person who actually is willing to work through my emotions with me. There have been people that I’ve met who are like that but we haven’t seen each other in a long time. I’m just tired of seeing everyone with their best friend. All I can do is wonder if I’ll ever have something like that.
