1:23, i dont know why amateur boxers think its ok to relax when you're in the clinch and pray the referee breaks it up. I keep punching even when clinched.

Its Amazing the effect Floyd has on this new era of boxers. Tank, Crawford,Broner,Shukur and many many more grew up watching TBE. Skills, not getting hit and stacking dough is the game plan now. If your a fan of the Art of boxing, then this should make you happy. Anyone can fight but only a chosen few can become a Master boxer.

I'm ambidextrous and I'm tryna use this style for my orthodox stance my southpaw is like floyd with the shoulder roll I love using my strong hand as my jab it keeps people from coming in to close my othordox I use the philly shell with a sneaky right hand and quick jab I'm looking for a good coach rn Imma gonna show the world something different just y'all wait

I agree 2 a extent, shakur not the same at all he got his own style & he completely steps back & makes u miss, he also throws more volume than any of these guys as well, his distance control is beyond any of them as well, shakur is levels more defensively sound than Floyd in my opinion, Floyd rolls his shoulder then counter while Shakur uses pendulum step & makes u swing 4 the fences 0 damage took & overwhelms u with a flurry/volume punches, so yea Floyd influenced him 2 be more defensively sound but he ain’t no shakur

what people fell to realise is that Mayweather never fault that style of fighting till he got older. he was a more direct into your face type of fighter...his idol was Tyson. he demolished fighters by coming in with Combo's and hooks. till he later on damages his wrist and knuckles then was nearly almost forced to retire at a young age. he started fighting smarter because he didn't want to give up his dream. so he hired his cut man/ wrap corner man....and if it wasn't for him. his career would have been cut short. people call it running and have all sorts of inexperienced excuses to call him a coward. because they only just started watching Boxing. and don't no shit.

this kid Shakor is the truth. he counterpunches with skill and easy, sets up beautiful combinations and just fundamentally sound, dude is the definitely the next mayweather. .....boxing prodigy!!!
@RichQuinones
@RichQuinones 8 жыл бұрын
+Sherif Ade let the kid turn pro first, before we say he is the next anyone! he is very sound but I would not go as far as to say Boxing Prodigy, there are 10 others out there like this kid. I can say that same about Ruben Villa and ppl call him the next De La Hoya. I let things unfold first, but kid is special, I will say that

he beat villa quite easy tbh lol :P but i get what you're saying, it all depends on if he develops well enough to beat the big guns in the pro game, he will likely smash his first 15-20 fights like mayweather did coz they're usually bumbs, then we will see how he does against his first gateway fighter

@Tirrell25
@Tirrell25 8 жыл бұрын
To many people use the word hating these days without even being able to define what a hater is.criticism is part of the game .yeah hes young ,and yes any boxer can change at this point in their career.the reason for so much criticism is because the kid is being posted on the internet to be the nedt big thing.can he box?yeah.but when you compare him in this point of his career compared to the greats i dont see nothing special in him except for the fact he can box.youre making it seem like the guy is a kid and people are being to hard on him.hes a adult and at this level people should not just agree with him.criticism builddls legends and thick skin.
@RichQuinones
@RichQuinones 8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, its pretty sad, but there are clueless people in boxing and the worse ones are the clueless ones that actually can't stand someone having an opinion, that being said, I agree, he is a kid, he is hyped a ton, so it makes it easier for people to criticize him or any young boxer.

I guess boxing has to market anything these days since you have limited talent.this kid can box but i dont see nothing special at his age that shows he will be great.yeah some boxer grow and end up being great.but at this point of his career and comparing him tonother greats at a young age i dont see anything great.has nothing we me being a hater or oldschool trying to hold on to the past.i have no problem saying when a boxer has potential to be something special.

Jose Perez Could be the heavy protective head gear they are wearing preventing a knockout. It's common sense. A good uppercut may allow for a knock out, but with those big ass pillows it ia not surprising that Shakur was unable to lay the other kid out.
