Shakur might not draw the numbers but from a purist perspective: his defense and counter punching is beautiful to watch. The high ring IQ and patience to read his opponent. One of his easier fights nonetheless but he’s never looked better and is gracefully technical. Not even a fan of him personally but I ll take PURE boxers over knockout artists any day. Hes a sharpshooter. Hes looking to be accurate like Floyd, even Gervonta doesnt throw alot, they all only throw what they can land. The difference is Shakur is too commited to defense to let himself go all in and commit to a flurry like Tank. Floyd was great because he was quick on Defense and on Offense. Shakur is just not willing to lead with offense.. but you notice he has great eyes and can anticipate almost every strike, very agile upper body motions for defense. Shakur is a very talented fighter, sharpe, defensive minded and accurate but he’s also still learning. Most of his issues are mental. He knows how to win fights but not the best closer. If Shakur is who he say he is, he should have gotten a TKO at least. If you have mastered the sweet science and consider yourself to be a "special" fighter, you should be able to get the stoppage against this level of opposition. And that's no shade against Artem. Shakur is GOOD but not special. Frank Martin is GOOD and he put a more significant beating on Artem before stopping him.
