Shakur might not draw the numbers but from a purist perspective: his defense and counter punching is beautiful to watch. The high ring IQ and patience to read his opponent. One of his easier fights nonetheless but he’s never looked better and is gracefully technical. Not even a fan of him personally but I ll take PURE boxers over knockout artists any day. WITH THAT BEING SAID…he doesn’t beat Tank. It won’t make it to decision.

Harutyunyan is much better than what average viewers the “so-called casuals”realize. Shakur made a skillful and naturally aggressive fighter backup and try his best to avoid engagement. The fight was very entertaining for me. I want to see Shakur redeem himself and do this same thing to Edwin or Pitbull. I believe he can.

Shakur is a very talented fighter, sharpe, defensive minded and accurate but he’s also still learning. Most of his issues are mental. He knows how to win fights but not the best closer. He’s also having issues with his hands which doesn’t help anything. He didn’t cut off the ring enough to slow down Artem. There’s no way he can beat Tank fighting in this way.

Crazy how shakur ain’t got no head movement or feint game at this point. His step back game rivals James Harden. He’s hard to hit because he’s always leaning back on his back foot and when you go to attack he takes multiple steps back. He’ll be hard to beat and hit, but I think it’ll take a bigger/taller fighter who can counter punch to beat Shakur.

Hes a sharpshooter. Hes looking to be accurate like Floyd, even Gervonta doesnt throw alot, they all only throw what they can land. The difference is Shakur is too commited to defense to let himself go all in and commit to a flurry like Tank. Floyd was great because he was quick on Defense and on Offense. Shakur is just not willing to lead with offense.. but you notice he has great eyes and can anticipate almost every strike, very agile upper body motions for defense. If he learns to counter off those with some accuracy and speed.. hed be the best boxer, even more efficient than Tank

If Shakur is who he say he is, he should have gotten a TKO at least. If you have mastered the sweet science and consider yourself to be a "special" fighter, you should be able to get the stoppage against this level of opposition. And that's no shade against Artem. Shakur is GOOD but not special. Frank Martin is GOOD and he put a more significant beating on Artem before stopping him.
