Shalamar - The Second Time Around • TopPop

Shalamar was an American soul, funk and disco group, who scored their greatest successes in the early 1980s.
The group was formed in 1977 by two background dancers from the American soul-TV program "Soultrain", Jeffrey Daniel and Jody Watley. Lead singer was Gerry Mumford. They made a single 'Uptown Festival', which became a hit in both the US and Europe.
'The second time Around' was their second single that scored #28 in april 1980 in the Dutch Top 40.

@Casey When was Jermaine singing with them. As far as I knew he only danced with them after losing out on an audition with Shalamar. I don’t remember,, or read anywhere, that he sang with them or, even, backup.
