Hello. Is the crescent shape a pure copper base or did you wrap something in the copper tape? Sorry if it’s a obvious question I’m still new to this. Thank you in advance and God blessed you with such great talent! Take care.

Hi 😊, This was actually 2 wires cut qnd formed into moon shape. Then I used a wide copper Tape and wrapped it over the wires .No worries at all I will try to help as much as I can as I am still a learner of this art my self 😊🌙.

Hi there, you do beautiful work, and I really enjoy watching your videos. Question, is the bee copper and you solder it? And if not, can you but a copper paint that will adhere to non metal items that can be painted on then soldered? I’m asking for odd shapes that tape can’t be wrapped on

Thank you for sharing your soft soldering experience. I love your bold designs and the way you are making textures with a tin. Would you share how you set the temperature on your soldering iron? Is it always the same? And how often do you clean the tip?
@teaandart4 жыл бұрын
Blessings thankyou so much for liking my creations .☺ My temperature is always set on 100 watts. It allows my solder to.flow well. But when you are designing like dots and texture your temperature should be low at least to 60 watts. Other tgen this its all about practice once you got the grip you can work and create texture with 100 watts as well 😊 I clean my tip during my work with a stainless steel wire mesh as soon i see the solder building up on my tip i clean it.

@@teaandart Thanks so much for the prompt answer :)! And for sharing valuable tips! I hope I didn't make huge mistake for buying 80 W soldering iron ( with rheostat) as I plan too to work with lead free solder, with 3% silver. You are really very creative and I enjoy watching how freely you play with solder and iron. Looking forward to watch your new designs :). You inspire! Once again, thanks a lot for sharing.

You said the soldering iron should be 100W. Does it have to have temperature regulation?

If you buy hakko fx 601 it does have a temperature regulation but mine don't have .So not necessary thing.

Pendant is so beautiful! I have some questions. :) Is it better to use lead free solder that contains only tin and copper,or lead free solder with tin, silver and copper inside? And about patina, is it regular patina for copper or something else? Tnx 💖
@teaandart5 жыл бұрын
Thankyou so much.Its better to use a lead free solder that has tin and silver in it.The one I am using is perfect in all ways and very light weight as well. Description: Silvergleem solder is a distinctive silver solder that adds a rich luxurious finish to all your jewelry pieces and stained glass art. This solder is lead-free and non-toxic. It is ideal on jewelry, boxes, art pieces, dishes that hold food, or any elegant piece you are creating. This solder has “instant freeze”….it makes the perfect beaded seams or sculpted pattern seams. Leave it in its beautiful natural silver color, or buff it to a high shine, or patina it.
@teaandart5 жыл бұрын
And the patina is a special one that is use for stain glass to create that age look it's different to copper one.

Hi for Gold you can't have a gold as it only works in silver.But if you add gold metal charms to design and then add metalic colour it will work.
