Shallow Water Finesse Fishing in Moreton Bay

Woke up a bit later than usual to an average forecast of 10-15 knot easterlies, decided to shoot straight into the wind and fish any spots that were sheltered, managed a few small bream snapper and sweetlip on the zman grubz and MAS guppie shad. I kept looking for some better snapper, and managed to bump into a solid Moreton Bay Javelin. The wind changed, I decided to shoot out to Stradbroke, not much action, but it’s always good to see what’s going on elsewhere in the bay.

I feel your pain man. Weather been so bad like forever over summer grr… love your dog. I hate watching really good weather through the week like always but can’t get out until the weekend Bugger. Yea it’s been pretty average, there’s always somewhere to fish if you take the direction into account and fish accordingly though, have to make the most with what you’ve been given. Thanks for watching 🍻

Yea mate, sounder is on the transom, and the mount is just a standard RAM mount, most tackle worlds sell them.

Don't put your hands in a grunters mouth. They have impressive crushing plates in their mouth and can do a good job on your finger.
