Shallow Water Reef Fishing & Chicken Catching on an Island!

Tropical island shallow water reef fishing is one of my favorite types of fishing! Snapper, permit, triggerfish and a variety of other reef fish were the catch of the day underwater with a chicken being the catch of the day on land! We then cooked it all up with rice and avocado for a fun little outdoor meal with a beautiful view of the ocean. What a great time on the island!

I remember this time when I was a kid back in the Dominican Republic late 80s. I was fishing by myself, catching little mangroves i remember this blue crab that became attracted by the bait was using when and suddenly, this big camouflaged moray eel came out of nowhere and chomped the crab in half that only claws and legs remained. I was literally shivering afterwards 😬

ace i got shock when u cut the best part of the fish off as the tail and fins if u deep fried them they are yummy and crunchy taste better than u eat a chip . so there is few ways to cook that fish u either steam it or fried it or hot oil bath it after u roast it ... if u ever plan to come to malaysia to fish let me know i willing to show u catch and cook malaysian style

I was born and raised on island in micronesia and one way to catch wild chickens is using fishing line and hook just like fishing for fish put a bait on the hook throw it on the ground with the little bit bait around and for sure the chicken will take the bait and you reel it in
