You guys are awesome! Like 3 weeks ago I commented something kinda negative lol sorry hahah said sometimes its like watching re runs becuz u go to the same places and said it would be cool to see you guys go more off the beaten path. Great episode love the show keep it up boys.

We're always mixing it up. We are basically obligated to fish Mille Lacs, Upper Red and Lake of the Woods each season, or at least two out of the three, due to the popularity, but once we get those shows in...we're free to run around the ice belt. We don't mind the feedback one bit! Thanks for watching!

Who else think PJ needs different boots then the white ones
@randyclark985 жыл бұрын
Those white (or sometimes black) boots are some of the best ice fishing boots out there. They're called Mickey mouse boots alot of ice guys wear them. No need for wool socks because they are so warm
@tannerl.75455 жыл бұрын
lol they're just boots
@dylingodfrey49155 жыл бұрын
True you guys I’m just OCD about that
@ValcoBayrunner5 жыл бұрын
also if you get into overflow and fill your boots full of water you can dump the water out and be good to go and warm again. can’t do that with a boot with felt inserts. in AK bunny boots are the norm.

Those reels on the iFish look like Avenger ABFs, but why keep the spool open with the baitfeeder switch there??
@InDepthOutdoorsTV5 жыл бұрын
No wind. When targeting walleye on windy days we run the baitfeeder. On calm days we leave the bail open. Your mileage may vary.

When its super cold what do you do to keep the hole open when using the i- fish pro.. Thanks in advance. ..

looks like they don't mind feeding in broad daylight. I'm on the Chippewa river in Northwest Wisconsin & the walleyes are an early a.m. or late afternoon bite. These fish seem to have no qualms about eating # high noon. Quite unwalleye like. Are they as tasty as walleye?
@InDepthOutdoorsTV5 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. They taste identical.

how come you don’t carry a small kitchen towel to wipe your hands on after getting slimed instead of putting that on your bibs and stinking ? i always fish with a towel, even fly fishing steelhead. also fish with slimmer gloves using hand warmers . if it’s windy and below 15 deg I will wear heavier gloves.
