Fun video guys. Glad to see someone having to brave the elements on the ice to get after some fish like I have to do most of the time. Ice fishing videos are always fun to watch, but I grow tired sometimes watching the seemingly endless array of videos of guys out on calm, sunny days fishing in sweatshirts. Of the many times I have been out, I can only think of a few rare occasions when it was sweatshirt weather. Then again, I always say if it were easy, everyone would do it. Right?! Thanks for keeping it real.

How do you guys decide what lakes to name and what lakes to keep secret? A few weeks ago you guys named Lake Irvine in NoDak for a second time (which is a pretty small lake) but this week you decide to not name a small SoDak lake...i understand naming lakes like LOTW but others cause me to scratch my head...BTW i really enjoy your shows and i truly appreciate the time you take to explain how to read/attack a lake

Why bring your otter shantys out if you never use them? Great show. I enjoy it
@InDepthOutdoorsTV7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kinds words. We have to bring a lot of gear to film the show so one sled is usually dedicated to production gear and the other to fishing. It’s tough to film a show out of the flip overs because it’s such tight quarters, plus we like to drill a lot of holes and move around to stay on fish, but we do use them to hop into and warm up. Here’s an episode we filmed out of the flip over when it was 30-below and being outside all day wasn’t much of an option. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGikiZ-BebaXmqM
@donnieurbanjr47557 жыл бұрын
Make sense. Just fished yesterday -10 degrees and 30mph winds. I couldn't see it possible to fish outside let alone film a show outside in those conditions. But anyway. Thanks again.

We do a couple shows per season out of a hub as well, which gives us a little extra room to work with when it's really cold out.

Why do you guys only fish lakes that are world renown lakes and not some that are known of that people fish and see if you can catch fish in metro lakes?
@InDepthOutdoorsTV7 жыл бұрын
Outdoors In Minnesota don't you think the metro lakes have enough pressure already? And for the record IDO has filmed near the metro but when we do we go to great lengths to protect the lake. So if you're expecting IDO to go to Lake X in the metro, catch a bunch of fish and tell the lake name that's just not going to happen.
@outdoorsinminnesota41007 жыл бұрын
But it’s always like Millacs lake of the woods leech etc im not saying there not good fisherman I’m just saying they always fish those big lakes it seems like.
@InDepthOutdoorsTV7 жыл бұрын
Outdoors In Minnesota I'm confused. This week's show was shot on a small lake in SD most people have never even heard of. We shoot all over. Small lakes, big lakes, lakes many have fished and others few have ever heard of.
@connorgorman40017 жыл бұрын
I agree with in depth outdoors I have heard of lots of the lakes they fish and yes some are with in 1 hour of the metro
