The disrespect Shalltear shows Brain, not only did she catch his blade but she did it from behind with only a couple of fingers but then she pinky parries all of his other attacks. After her display of her ability to block all of his attacks and the apology of not even detecting his use of martial arts Brain's ego has been stomped into the mud, totally soul crushing defeat.

Yeah, you bet that is a haunting smile, Solutions Race is not Human, she is a Shoggoth. If you dont know anything about that, i strongly recommend to look for pictures. Pure Awesomeness. Also if to comment on Zacks fate. Solution is completely hollow inside, so she can store him inside and slowly and i mean really really slowly dissolve him with weak acid over weeks.

yea thats shalltear LOL its one of her abilities "bloodlust" the more blood she consumes the stronger she gets sadly tho it makes her go frenzy too going to a "blood frenzy" most vampires have this enhanced state if they drink too much blood the blood ball you see is just her collecting the blood for later use, cause if she keeps consuming it along the way she will fall into blood frenzy sooner

The vampires with Shalltear are her Thralls, which she has many under her command in Nazarick Also, Shalltear is basically the strongest of all the guardians, which is a bit broken since she guards the first three floors of Nazarick

Just a fun fact; In all of Nazarick, there's only one confirmed human. Everyone else only looks like a human but are actually monsters a.k.a. Heteromorphs or Demi-humans. The only exceptions to this are the Humanoids like elves(Aura and Mare) and that one actual human. To clarify; Yggdrasil(the game) had 3 main racial category; Human/Humanoid - Human - Elf - Dwarf - etc. Demi-human - Goblin - Orc - Beastman - etc. Heteromorphs - Angel - Demon - Undead - Insect/Insectoid - etc.

the reason all the npc's are looking down on humans is most likely that the supreme beings didnt allow any humans in the guild, the one human entered in season two, so there were no humans in nazarick before the games end.

You gotta remember Neel. Nazarick is made up of only non-humans so, while some may look close to human, other others only "look" human because they are taking that shape and their true form is much more terrifying. Like Demiurge turning into that frog creature. I think Albedo's true form is how you see, though I may be wrong. Also the twins, but most others have "true forms" which we haven't seen. You see Shalteer's in this episode.

Sadly the anime doesn't go into Shaltear's background much compared what's in the books, and also leaves a lot out. But the NPCs tend to take on a lot of the personality of their creators, even past what there creators wrote for them. Shalltear's creator was a massive fan of hentai with some very dark tastes. For that reason, she's very much into capturing, controlling, and breaking beatiful women she finds - to the point that even after she's converted them into her minions, they still "live" in fear of her and are used for her plesure. Because he's so into his dark hentai this much, when his older sister got the role of voicing once of his favorite fictional characters - he took that very badly and felt she had ruined that whole IP for him, as is referenced in this episode.

5:20 yeah that's censored. The site I'm using doesn't have this episode censored, the main reason most sites have the same censored version is due to them using the same source(s). If the sites provides a few different sources, try them all out. The easiest way for the most part is just adding uncensored in your search if there's a particular anime or episode that annoys you being censored. Tokyo Revengers was that for me once people started making a big deal out of the manji symbol and they censored it, the amount of hella obnoxious obvious censorship made it unwatchable.

so what happened? A world item (strongest of the strongest, can only be overwriten by another world item) was used on Shaltear. I can't reember what item exactly but it was used to take her over completly, but because the caster died while using it, they; couldn't give her any command. She's now standing there aimlessly, hostile towards anything. Other world items you have already seen are the orb in Ainz's lower chest and the Staff of Ainz Own Goal (iirc). Some more World class items will be introduced in the next 2 episodes.
