Premium fuel doesn't matter, generators don't care about octane ratings. But using ethanol-free gasoline is one of the most important thing you can do to ensure generator reliability. I get a lot of free generators that don't start because people let ethanol gas turn to gel in the carb bowl.

I agree that octane isnt as important as the ethanol free gasoline. All the fuel stations in my area only sell ethanol free in the premium grade only. So thats the only way I can get it. Is it diffrent in your area? Its always fun to learn whats out there. Thank you for your great comment.
