One thing to keep in mind is, If you're leveling and you're about to pull a mob you can also throw a Lava Burst and before it hits you can flame shock, this way you get the guaranteed crit and the mob starts running at you a few seconds later (if you flame shock first it starts running at you instantly) Im not 100% sure if lava burst into flame shock works in vanilla but it definitely should. Will have to test it out

This doesn't work in wotlk, flame shock needs to be on the target at the moment you finish the cast of lava burst for it to crit, if flame shock goes away before the lava burst hits the mob but after it was casted, it will still crit@@GuideMMO

Yeah this doesn't work. It checks for flame shock dot at the moment it finishes the cast. Better start with a LB into flame shock and move for a global then lava burst.

Why would anyone level with a shield other than because they want too? Staves do way more dps

I disadree with the crit talent choises. Even though you're below 20. At level 19 & 20 ghost wolf should have prio, so when you do hit 20 it is instant cast. Not at 21/22. Otherwise Nice vid.

It all depends how you plan to level, if you dungeon farm then crit is better

I got the dual wield rune and lava lash early like level 10. I went 5 points into extra mana cause why not im never going to use a shield and I destroy mobs and one shot Alliance casters lol

You talk about SoD? With level 20 you got dual wield so you would neither take a shield nor a two hand weapon. Until 20 1h+shield or just use a staff.
