Great guide, as always. Just some things that I personally like. I recommend Maelstrom Weapon, it triggers way more often than Power Surge. Also, I use Water Shield on Bosses over Molten Blast. I also basically stack Stam because there is no need for prioritizing str and agi for threat on Shaman. We get 30% bonus hp via Way of Earth, so Stam is pretty valuable.

But we dont need that Much stamina from gear, hence its just better to go str. It make you Block more dmg with shield and hit harder when DW

Yup exactly this, Mealstrom is so much better, and mana is not really an issue if you downrank + use a shield which with the rune will recover mana on blocks (they happen pretty frequently)

You can drop Grounding Totem on Grubbis to skip the stun mechanic from basilisk ;)

i tanked gnomer for the first time tonight on my shaman alt. I've tanked it a ton on my warrior and haven't had any issues, but i went oom pretty quick on first boss and i couldn't get threat back :/ it was pretty embarrassing.. I didn't know power surge gave back mana, and good call on rank 1 earth shock. You sir earned my sub!

4 first bosses you should go dual wield for sure unless your group is trash. Water shield is the way to go if you go with shield, especially for the last boss(except menagerie)

No way man with Power Surge, you are tanking and mostly auto attacking with Rockbitter why would you ever take Power Surge ? Maelstrom Weapon is a much better option the procs happen ALOT especially if your tanking with a Shield > you will block and recover mana you should not be running into mana issues if you using lower rank skills like Flame Shock 1 for threat and Max rank for more dmg/threat if your full on mana. Additionally the mail set in Gnomergan has a 3set bonus which is perfect for a Shaman tank > 5% chance to recover mana on hit. I like the guide but dont agree with some of these points it misleads people.

@@Jprep2116 Nope, over here doing 8k dps in dungeon's as a tank now and for dps we are also on top due to mental dex and the other wrist runes
