Shaman Twinks Are Busted!! Should You Make A Shaman Twink??

There are 2 other trinkets available at level 39 that might be worth getting. First is the Nifty Stopwatch it increases your movement speed by 40% for 10 secs. It is a reward from the questline in the Badlands that involves you killing rock elements across the zone. The second is the Mark of the Chosen it gives a 2% chance when struck in combat of increasing all stats by 25 for 1 min. This is a reward from the quest The Pariah's Instructions in Desolace that sends you into Mauradon. This quest isn't available until to you hit level 39 and will require some help to complete.

Ive been levelling a shaman on adifferent server to my main due to unfortunately my main being aliiance therefore making my dream shaman twink is gonna have to wait until I get enough gold on my shsman alt theyre so damn good from what i remember (I had one at 29 back in TBC and my friend and I dominated AB as he was my personal pocket pally healer twink) but now that I am fully aware of the sheerpower in windfury thanks to my alt (46) I cannot wait to relive those days in the 39 bracket instead! Thanks Punkrat you're an information fountain and as always have given me the motivation I was somewhat lacking in order to pursue my dream! Keep up thr amazing work! I play a BIS 39 Enhancement shaman. I think they're overrated. Of course they have the largest one shot potential, but they're extremely RNG. Lots of fun though. I have some 39 games on my twitch and I've been able to windfury 39 warriors for 1900, and I've also hit a 60 mage in WPVP for 2050. Edit: The gear listed is wrong. Like, super wrong lol. Hey Punkrat, You're missing a few bis pieces off of your list. Unearthed bracers of the monkey/bear/eagle/stam is much better than the wrists you have listed. Also for your helm I would recommend getting a 12/12 tiger for pure dps and a miners hat of the deep for the agi/stam/int. If you run gear with no intellect whatsoever you're going to go oom very quickly and lose a lot of utility. Just my 2 cents.

Great video a few things regarding the enchants/choices for chest you can also go +4all stats if you want to be more of a glass cannon and for a shaman in this bracket you dont have to go minor speed on boots as you mention later in the video ghost wolf helps get into fights faster and this combined with frost shock to slow enemies means you can instead roll stats such as +7agi or +7stam for boots.

29 ret pally twink is basically more consistent (less bursty though) windfury shaman. When I chose to roll alliance in classic I was a little bummed about not being able to make a shammy, a class that I love and mained back in retail days, but making a 29 pally twink sort of compensated for it. When talking about 29 offensive twinks most people think about hunters or rogues, but let me explain why paladin is possibly the most overpowered choice at this level: 1. Seal of Command is the only thing close to an instant weapon-based attack on a 2h class in this level bracket (aside from overpower, which isn't very consistent). This is huge, as with the BiS weapon (Corpsemaker) it has 44.3% chance to proc per swing. When you think about it, it's essentially as if Windfury had more than double the proc chance but for 1 extra attack instead of 2. 2. Paladin is incredibly tough to take down at that level - high hp pool, highest armor class, devotion/shadow res aura, fairly frequent invulnerability cooldowns that also function like extra pvp trinkets, blessing of freedom, lay on hands - you need about 6k damage to take down a twink pally that has access to all cooldowns. 3. Thanks to how tough a pally is, he can retain world buffs and consumable buffs far more consistently compared to other classes. 4. Unlike other high-damage classes at this level, pally brings insane utility to the rest of the team with auras, blessings, defensive cooldowns and emergency heals. 5. Both Judgement and SoC procs are able to trigger Crusader, which significantly increases its uptime compared to other classes. 6. Hammer of Justice 7. Eye for an eye makes casters literally kill themselves when they attack you and Vindication is a major pain for any melee class that decides to take you on. The biggest flaw is the lack of applied slows/roots, but that can be compensated for with HoJ, grenades, swiftness potions, net-o-matic and discombobulator ray.

​@@wildmildew1 1v1 locks are quite easy to deal with - with my 2k health the dots barely do anything. PvP trinket + bubble + possible resists from shadow res aura make fear not as bad as it usually is. Seduce shares dr with fear so I wouldn't recommend using it, especially since Succ dies in like one swing+exo. Void is the only way to go. Without void sac I can potentially kill a twink lock in one HoJ. Also curse of tongues does nothing to me unless I'm healing allies, hardcasting is death for ret in 1v1. Why would I do it if I can heal to full hp with a bandage or do it instantly with LoH?

Lucky to be on Stonespine EU, feels like the sweet spot honestly other than a slight horde favour. Definitely a community feel as a mainly dungeon/raid player. I commonly see similar people I did SM with when I ran Mara, then again later with raiding. It’s nice to be invited on your reputation at being a good and decent player and I do the same when making my groups, I know and invite people I know from the scene! Have loved WoW classic personally, took my time, didnt take part in aspects i didn’t enjoy, and have made friends I talk to most days of the week.

I i think you have forgot about warriors on the level 39 bracket. I got a warrior with pendulum of doom (POD). He is specced in to fury with deathwish and improved slam. when i take berserk in WSG and pop deathwish and get a lucky enrage/crusader proc i can do white crits for 1.2k and slams/whirlwinds for close to 1.3k each. with a slam macro i can do one slam,auto hit and whirlwind in the same global (close to 3k dmg). i got some clips of this if you are interested.

@@wheme6061 At this point in Classic the "Gear" items, like Scouts Medallion are not available to purchase. Only consumables can be purchased from the WSG vendors. AB isn't available yet either. I believe they become available in Phase 4. So you will need to find substitutes for a neck, ring, and boots. I think thats all though

twinks were only fun back in the day because there wasnt alot of them and you could dominate WSG, nowadays everybody is doing it and it takes away from the fun of twinks. At this point its just scaled down lvl 60 pvp.

Just a few things to review; the CDR on grounding totem is more valuable than bonus dmg to lightning shield in regard to pvp. Also, the 5% mana increase talent is HORRIBLE!!!! I don't think ANY of the items you listed had int on them. So, those 5 points might net you +50 mana or so. A complete waste! Go for the shield block chance instead. It's good to switch to sword and board on the fly if focused or stun locked. That is all.

Why PvE focused "Improved Weapon Totems" when it only increases bonus AP to WF totem and fire dmg to Flametongue totem? It doesn't add to WF weapon while only giving your melee group that extra bit of AP (158AP v 122AP) when you could add an additional 2% to all your weapon attacks along with 5% extra haste to your Flurry with those 2 pts.

Ok, so there is a blue post stating that weapon skill is normalized in pvp so +weapon skill doesn't matter and also, something that gives +weapon skill gives it to both 1hn and 2hn if viable, so the helm gives it to both 1hn and 2hn axes, but again useless for pvp. Also, you cannot run the reflector trinkets at 39 because they have a level requirement above 39 to use. You can craft them but not use them.

They are good at 39 but not great. I have a rogue and I can roll shamans most of the time. The few times i don't is when they get a nice crit on a windfury proc. I would roll a 39 ret pally, rogue, or warlock over a shaman any day.

I found a PoD while leveling my main(also a shaman) and almost sold it until someone in twink guild told me keep that and make a 39 shaman. Only ever tried 29 and 19 bracket but decided to give it a try. Most fun I've had with any twink I've played. Also saw a PoD on AH other day for 650g, sniped it up and flipped it for 2500g. Guy who bought it is the leader of #1 guild on my server and ended up sending me a mail later that day saying I should of listed it for 10k+ as it is the last item for his 39 shaman and he would bought it for that price.
