100% correct. if you have a diesel car or van try to keep few spare petrol cans with you. and dont worry border crossing not an issue but yeah there will be delay in paper clearance and exit stamps as you will see 100s truck on border waiting to cross border.

No on Pakistan border there is no bank or custom office they will send one of there security officer who will guide you to Quetta custom house you can park your car there and go home and then come back to pay custom
