A green line appeared on my samsung s20 plus in early 2023, I checked google, browsed youtube and got to know that I wasn't the only one who is experiencing this. I called the service centre, they replaced my display free of cost, the best part is I didn't have to visit the service centre, door pickup and delivery was offered. These are the perks of buying a smartphone from a reputed brand.

Thank you for making people aware about the green line issue through this video, Bhavesh. I don't know why brands do this. One main thought that comes to my mind is brands don't care once a customer has bought a product from them. Because they know that in a country like India, even if one customer leaves, 10 more will come. But not with Apple.

I am using Samsung Zfold2, and i am in dubai. The same green colour vertical line suddenly appeared in my mobile, and mobile was in my hand. It's totally 100 percent Samsung manufacturers' default. But Samsung is not accepting it. Dont buy Samsung mobile. I also regret buying this expensive mobile but the service centre is saying pay more for repair.. SHAME ON SAMSUNG

I am using a Motorola g82. I have this issue. It is really frustrating. Only I think you have kept track with it. Thanks for that. I think what Oneplus did is appreciable at least they addressed it and atleast they are trying eventhough they take so many days. In my case it was under warranty but the service centre said all my data will be lost so I hesitated (because backup was too hectic for me). But when I finally gave the phone it was out of warranty and now if U have to repair the phone I would have to pay a sum of rs 7,500 for a phone of 20,000. I am really disappointed. The service centre experience was also frustrating. I visited the service centre almost 4 times. I chose this phone after thoroughly looking and I was pretty satisfied with the device until this happened. The whole experience of this phone has been ruined. Overall disappointing experience. We pay our money and it is wasted by them and left us with no choice.

Maybe Apple was able to fix this because they have full control of their software and hardware suppliers. Every Android brand gets their hardware and a binary blob driver for it, they can't modify it or fix it. If the problem is in the display or the driver Android brands really can't do anything about it. Maybe Samsung, but no other brand.

Bhai, I just went to Vivo's service centre for My X70 Pro phone that I had bought from Thailand, which had a green line suddenly at night on charging, although it was on warranty they initially said screen cant be replaced, but after talking to their head and understanding my condition they accepted my case and got my screen replaced. And the best part they gave me a secondary phone to use meanwhile My phone was in service centre. I am so Happy to get Vivo. Best camera so far! P.s. These services are only for Vivo premium customers (X series devices)

Heating seems to be a major contributing factor after physical damage and software update. I got my lines after some months of updating. I never drop my phone not even once but I do like to mention that my phone heats up especially during charging. Here's what u need to do: Don't apply fancy skin to ur phone, use a good case and tempered glass. Your phone will definitely heat up during charging if the battery percentage is below 30, so avoid charging at low battery %. Remove the case for better heat dissipation. Don't jump to the newest software built even though it is full release. Let the overactive user be Beta testers. Use the community forum of ur respective brand for better updates regarding issues. Some youtubers might show up with software update reviews. But mind you most of them have multiple devices to test and reviews and don't use the same phone for prolonged periods like us. So by probability, them not getting any issue like many of us is very low. Since we use our device more. Keep your invoice!!!! That's why I was not able to repair my device. OnePlus user.

My battery was draining so fast in my motorola edge 20 pro ..i used to charge it 2-3 times a day n it used to heat up i play pubg a lot so it used to drain battery.. but since last few days it was draining too fast n i have a 30 watt charger for it.. i started charging it with.a fast table fan.. i keep a table fan right infront of it when it charges and man it has helped me so much.. my battery back up increased like 70 percent compared to before.. it dosent drain fast when playing pubg now.. Am gonna switch from 30 watt charger to the lowest watt charger i can get maybe somewhere between 10-20 watt.. guys dont let ur phone heat up.. switch to a low watt charger n use a table fan while charging ur phone.. it.will. help battery life..

I also faced this OnePlus Qualcomm restart issue and service centre told me to replace motherboard at the cost of 25k where I purchased my device OnePlus 7T 4 years ago at a cost of 38k, I wonder if any idiot would pay this hefty amount for such cases. I got this problem solved with a local repair shop and he fixed at a cost of 2k by fixing the RAM and CPU and now the phone is running as smooth as a butter. I wonder why the service care don't provide cost-effective service rather than just loot the consumer. In such cases either the customer would compromise with data by letting it go in the scrap or pay such huge amount in order to retrieve data on device. Can't trust all the local repair shops as majority of them don't guarantee for a success in the operation and they just ruin the condition of phone and make it worst.

If you saying its happening only in India the reason can be this, around 15 or 20 years back Intel had released their flagship processor, which was I guess pentium 4 or 5, dont remember exactly, it had a major issue like heating and computer hanging up, so what they did was they sent all those faulty processors to India and sold them here as they could be sued if they sold those in western market. So I guess samsung also did the same, they sold all those faulty scrap displays in India.

Beware of Flipkart so many people facing issues with deliveries on Flipkart, The Phone ordered on 8th Oct-23 has been out for delivery since 13-Oct-23 and the delivery agent has gone hometown, and now delivery is 18-Oct-23, why would the product out for delivery and then go home-town instead of delivering. No option for canceling the order.
