Can we just take a second to applaud these actors. The hurt in both their eyes was heartbreaking. While hers were “real” and in line with the plot, his could have been played coldly, but the actor let the audience see just enough of his pain at her words that you could glimpse the toll on his emotions. He was still wrong in holding her so tightly that his protection turned to abuse, but I can’t hate Li ChenYi. I can only pity him.

Tengo sentimientos encontrados con este drama, porque trato de ponerme en el lugar de los dos protagonistas y no es fácil, ella lo quiere odiar por todo el mal que le ha hecho, pero no puede porque también lo ama. Él quiere el trono y vengarse de todos los que le hicieron mal a su madre y familia materna; y para lograr todo eso tiene que tener un corazón duro y no mostrar debilidad. Entonces trata mal a su esposa para que sus enemigos crean que ella no es importante para él (así el piensa que la mantiene a salvo), pero obviamente ella no entiende nada de eso. Al final, ella recupera la memoria, él se vuelve loco (porque cree que ella ama a otro) y se llega al final que a mi parecer es el mejor final. Pero me consuela que ellos tienen una tercera vida que es en la actualidad, se conocen, se casan y viven felices juntos (eso ya se los había dicho el sacerdote budista cuando fueron juntos al templo). Por allí en internet se consiguen los cortos de esa tercera vida, pero no está traducida. Cómo me gustaría leer el propio libro de esta historia!

i watched this drama.. although i love ML even tho he was a bad guy his acting was brilliant .. the FL not so much ..she plays these types of roles all the time .. she never has chemistry with any ML ..she really had no love for ML at all and the chemistry was not there .. she messed about all the time.. she was a free spirit who didn’t want be tied down .. she cared about her master but that was about it ..there’s never any kiss scenes .. reluctantly maybe one ..at the most two ..these long drawn out dramas are ok but when the main leads relationships never progress it’s just toxic all the time ..that’s why it can be very boring and the you skip half the episodes.

Te entiendo, por eso yo me informo antes si tiene un final bueno porque detesto las historias como este drama. Yo no lo vi, solo vi pedacitos aqui y alla, suficiente para decidirme no verlo. El final fue horrible. La pobre mujer se termina suicidando por tanto maltrato y humillaciones. Y segun, esa fue su manera de amarla. Para que queria alguien su vida solo para ser maltratada? Mejor muerta! El bien pudo haberla sacado de su lado si no podia darle un amor sano. Pero fue egoista y eso simplemente no es amor.

@@LuoLin_Wei i love Chen Xingxu but i dont like some hates him even personally because of his character in GMP. He admitted he got depressed when he read bad comments about it and even personally. He was just acting, and he did it convincingly and amazingly. I think thats why hes hesitant to accept a new drama offer with Xiaoran because of what he experienced, you dont know how they were cruel to him
