I didn't realize until after her character's death that Frank's mom was played by Louise Fletcher aka "Nurse Ratchet" from 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.' Considered one of the greatest movie villains of all time. She also played the overbearing evil grandmother in "Flowers in the Attic." She did antagonists very well.
