Shamima Begum: IS teenager to lose UK citizenship - BBC News

The family of Shamima Begum, who joined the Islamic State group in Syria aged 15, say they plan to challenge the move to strip her of UK citizenship.
Her family's lawyer, Tasnime Akunjee, said they were considering "all legal avenues" to contest the decision.
Government sources said it was possible to strip the 19-year-old of British nationality as she was eligible for citizenship of another country.
Ms Begum, who left east London in 2015, had said she wanted to return home.
She was found in a Syrian refugee camp last week after reportedly leaving Baghuz - IS's last stronghold - and gave birth to a son at the weekend.

In the U.K. we have several laws which would mean she is arrested immediately upon return to the U.K. For a start it is now illegal to enter and remain in a terrorist stronghold. I'm a brown non practising muslim from the UK and I think that given she chose to join isis, lived/supported the organisation for 4 years, birthed a child there (presumably for isis cause) and has only just now decided it's not right for her is a bit rich. I think ultimately she should be sent back to Syria. A lot of people are saying she was groomed and brainwashed but to be quite frank this must be the 10th video I've seen of her, and her behaviour, attitude and body language shows an individual who does not give a f*** she comes off rude and arrogant. Had she been brainwashed/groomed I think after 4 years in isis you would expect her to be completely broken down, denouncing her actions and ultimately begging the UK government or even trade off inside knowledge. This is a person who just wants to exploit the British benefits system and expects everything to be handed to her on a plate as if she just went on holiday. It infuriates me that she has only come to the UK because isis are losing and it is no longer a safe haven. There is no doubt in my mind that if the situation improved there she would return and I believe the government are doing the right thing by nipping it in the bud now.
