Ingredients Winter special pithe Recipe:
Grated Coconut
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 Cup
Rice Flour - 1/2 Cup
Sugar - 2 Cup
Jaggery - 200 GM
Khoya Kheer / Mawa - 100 GM
Green Cardamom
Cinnamon
Milk
Salt
Refined Oil
Methods of how to make Gokul Pitha Recipe:
1. At first heat up a kadai and add Grated Khoya.
2. Toss it for 1-1.5 mins on medium flame.
3. Now add 1 medium size grated coconut, jaggery - 200 gm. Cook it on medium flame and stir continuously 25 mins.
4. Right now add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
5. Turn off your oven and let it cool down a bit.
6. Take little bit of the mixture roll it in a ball shape and press like this. Make several in the same way with all the mixture.
7. After that take a bowl and add 1 cup Maida, ½ cup Rice Flour, jaggery 50 gm.
8. Add Milk 1.5 cups slowly to make a thick batter. Boil on high flame till the sugar melts.
9. After the sugar melts add whole cardamom & cinnamon and boil for 2 mins on high flame.
10. Then put it in sim so it stays warm.
11. Now dip each pitha in the batter and deep fry them on low flame.
12. After frying put them in the syrup.
13. Fry all the pithas like this and put them in the sugar syrup. Soak them for 20-30 mins in the syrup and then serve.
