It’s the best stadium in Ireland bar the GAA grounds and Lansdowne. Fair play to rovers. They’ve done amazing with the tools that they’ve been given. They were miles ahead of us tonight on the pitch but I hope we are on the road to slowly catching up with them. As a pats fan, we were lucky to lose by two. Rovers look much better than last year. Fair play to them.

Fair review. As a Rovers fan I was surprised at how many times Redmond pumped it up to Keating in the first half. Thought we looked good and that's without McEneff, Byrne, Burke, Pico etc.

I think this is the strongest squad Rovers have had for any of the past 4 seasons and then with McEneff and Burns added as well, there's quality and goals all over the pitch. Played pats off the park last night. Great to see the big crowd as well. Hopefully a sign of the season ahead, for all clubs.

Rovers definitely put down a marker tonight, they looked hungry, strong and very competitive. It's up to the others to bring the fight to them but it's a huge ask I think and any club tha manages to finish ahead of them will undoubtedly be champions. Great to be back though, roll on next Friday when all things are possible once again. See ya all on the road.

As always, mate, your vlogs are an honest assessment of the game witnessed,and it's a pleasant change to see the content explained so succinctly. Rovers had a number of kids and new starters tonight but were still too strong for Pats. It's a long season and momentum is key as Pat's will know well from last year. The stadium looks great now and highlights what is a great LOI product for people to enjoy - Just needs the tv revenue now to get behind the league and it will continue to thrive.

Good one Keith. Looking at team sheets i thought Pats want this, but they were terrible, especially passing. In first half towards halftime rovers dropped to same level. 2nd half complete and simple domination from rovers. Pats keeper kicking was poor and the third he let in looked like it went right under his hand. Young and probably nervous. Ps. Your rovers badge is missing the 2 stars😂. Great to back.

Think that game every year in Rovers' home ground means more to them than the away sides . Only Dundalk ever seemed to want to use it to set a marker by showing they could beat Rovers . So ide not over analyse Pats performance on the night as they probably just treated is as a competitive frendly .
