A little mistake brother shamsi made here was an incorrect equivalence between an athiest and kuffar e makkah. Allah threatened the kuffar e makkah with hell because they already believed in Allah and the concept of heaven and hell. Meanwhile the modern or overall athiest in general doesn't believe in God and the supernatural. Therefore the use of logic and philosophy might (not always, in some cases) make sense. A prophet or caliph is chosen by Allah through the best seeds and is educated from childhood and guided under the supervision of a prophet or pious person. For example the Prophet Samuel appointed the Prophet David as caliph which is implied in the Bible. Of the many companions of the prophet Muhammad, only Sayyidina Ali had these criteria because from childhood to adulthood he was under the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad. The others are all converts(mualaf), former idol worshipers, former immoral.

It is written in both Sunni and Shia books. appointed Ali as caliph only as a complement that Ali is the leader of the divine theocracy according to Qur'anic standards and was appointed by the Prophet at the event of Ghadir Khumm. There was not a single prophet or imam or caliph who converted to Islam or worshiped idols where the caliphs David and Imam Ibrahim were examples of criteria as benchmarks for Muslims. Where the 2 prophets were not converts or idol worshipers and were under the supervision of Allah from infancy to adulthood. The standard among the Prophet's companions was only Ali who met these criteria, only Paul's supporters opposed him

Prophets or priests or caliphs are chosen by Allah through the intermediaries of his messengers, namely the prophets or pious people. Ali was chosen by Allah through the Prophet Muhammad SAW at the event of Ghadir Khumm with the title Mawla, which means a leader at the level of a prophet or caliph. only this mawla title can be carried by Allah, the prophet muhammad and sayyidina Ali. Ali had this standard, only Paul's followers, ex-pagans or converts, opposed him because he preferred Paulus, a former pagan or convert, to become caliph through the standard Sicilian Koncea Sicilian method of the Bani Saqifa, i.e. voting by humans.

Examples of criteria based on the Alquran where the caliph or imam is not an idol worshiper or a convert. And it is obligatory for a caliph or imam to be under the supervision of Allah from infancy to maturity. Of the many friends, only Ali, who from childhood to adulthood was under the guidance and upbringing of the Prophet Muhammad, is a historical fact.

Companions of the prophet ﷺ were the people who embraced Islam during his ﷺ time of prophethood. Shia is a group of people obsessed with a companion of the prophet ﷺ, Ali رضي الله عنه. Ali was the first youth to embrace Islam and he grew up to be one of the best among the companions. The 4th Caliph. Raised by the prophet ﷺ himself. But people are not supposed to deify him or any men. Shia revere Ali رضي الله عنه while they curse other companions of the prophet ﷺ because of their obsession. The main source in Islam is Al-Qur'an. The secondary source in Islam is the hadeeth. Because Shia reject other companions except Ali رضي الله عنه, they also reject sahih hadeeth narrated by the companions of the prophet ﷺ they hate.
