Ilm al kalaal (philosophy) is actually haram knowledge that we as Muslims should stay away from. All the scholars frowned upon it. The following statement perfectly describes the likes of Mohamed Hijab (and anyone who engages in ilm al kalaam): Al-Dasooqi said in his Haashiyah (2/174): His phrase “according to the most sound opinion” means that it is forbidden to read the books of al-Baaji, Ibn al-‘Arabi and ‘Iyaad, unlike the one who says that it is essential to learn it in order to understand ‘aqeedah and basic religious issues. But al-Ghazaali said that the one who has knowledge of ‘ilm al-kalaam knows nothing of religious beliefs except the beliefs that the common people share, but they are distinguished by their ability to argue and debate.

This Ayah & the 2 Ayat after it were revealed about the KUFFAR & about those who changed the judgement of Allah from among the JEWS🔥It has NOTHING to do with the people of Islam whatsoever BECAUSE if a Muslim even if he committed a major sin, it cannot be said about him that he is a Kāfir✅️[AlMuwafaqat 4/39]✅️Shaykh ul Islam Ibn Taymeeyah said about:وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ✅️& whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers of a LESSER DEGREE as they do not act on Allah’s Laws✅️Quran 5:44* أن الإمام أحمد -رحمه الله- سئل عن الكفر المذكور في آية الحكم؛ فقال: “كفر لا ينقل عن الملة؛ ‏؛ مثل الإيمان بعضه دون بعض، فكذلك الكفر، حتى يجيء من ذلك أمر لا يختلف فيه”. *ImamAhmad was asked about the type of KUFR mentioned in the Ayah of judging & he said✅️THIS IS THE KUFR WHICH DOES NOT take a person out of the Ummah; just as some parts of EMAN are lesser AND the same is for KUFR, until there appears a matter of which there is no difference of opinion in✅️Majmoo alFatawa 7/2541️⃣BCUZ they left the correct way & this has been testified by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, as the Khawarij interpreted the Ayat with the wrong explanation. This is what innovators do & this is the door through which they enter2️⃣BCUZ they exaggerated concerning the rulings of the Quran & the Sunnah & they exaggerated excessively✅️Ibn Umar on Rebels:The Khawarij apply verses about disbelievers against Muslims✅️AlBukhari reported: Ibn Umar RADIALLAHHUANHU considered the Khawārij rebels to be the worst of Allah’s creation & he said:“Verily they take verses that were revealed about UNBELIEVERS & use them against the BELIEVERS✅️Sahih Bukhari 6531* عن البخاري وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنه يَرَاهُمْ شِرَارَ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُمْ انْطَلَقُوا إِلَى آيَاتٍ نَزَلَتْ فِي الْكُفَّارِ فَجَعَلُوهَا عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 6531 صحيح البخاري كتاب استتابة المرتدين والمعاندين وقتالهم باب قتل الخوارج والملحدين بعد إقامة الحجة عليهم *Imam al-Baghawi (d516 AH/1122 CE)rahimahullah, mentioned in Ma'alim utTanzil vol 3 p61:IbnAbbas & Tawus stated:It is NOT the kufr which expels one from the Religion✅️Rather if one does it then he is a disbeliever, yet he is not like the one who disbelieves in Allāh & the Last Day✅️Shaykh'ul Islam Ibn Taymiyah (d. 728 AH/1328 CE) rahimahullah, stated in MajmuAlFatawa vol 7 p312:Therefore from the statements of the Salaf were:A person can have within him both īmān & kufr" & likewise within their saying: "that one can have within him both īmān & kufr, it is not the kufr which expels one from the Religion." Just as IbnAbbas & his companions (students) stated in regards to the saying of Allāh:"And whoever does not judge by what Allāh Has Revealed‼️then it is those who are disbelievers✅️Quran 5:44✅️They said it means: "They disbelieved with a type of kufr which does not expel one from the Religion" & Ahmad & other Imāms of the Sunnah followed him in that✅️Ibn Taymiyyah also said in MajmuAlFatawa vol 7, p522:IbnAbbas & others from the Salaf stated in regards to Allāh's saying:Whoever does not rule by what Allah Has Revealed, then they are the disbelievers✅️Quran 5:44✅️Whoever does not rule by what Allāh Has Revealed, then they are the transgressors✅️**5:45** ✅️Whoever does not rule by what Allāh Has Revealed, then they are the sinful✅️**5:47**✅️It is:🔥"kufr less than kufr, fisq less than fisq & dhulm less than dhulm✅️Imams Ahmad, Bukhari & others mentioned this✅️IbnTaymiyyah also said in MajmuAlFatawa, vol 7 p350-351:"He could be Muslim yet within him is kufr less than kufr which does not expel him from Islām absolutely, as the Companions said, such as Ibn 'Abbās and others: "kufr less than kufr" this is the saying of the generality of the Salaf and this is what Ahmad and others documented. This is also what al-Bukhārī bore testimony to in is Sahih✅️(Refer to: Imam Bukhari's chaptering in his Sahīh:Chapter:Kufr Towards Spouses & Kufr Less than Kufr.' Al Qādī Ibn al-'Arabī al-Mālikī stated in Fath ul Bārī, vol 1 p83:"The intent of the classifier (i.e. al-Bukhārī) is to explain that acts of obedience are named 'īmān' and likewise acts of disobedience are named 'kufr'. However, when kufr is applied in this instance the intent is not the kufr which expels from the Religion.")✅️A Study of the Tafsir of Ibn 'Abbās: Kufr Dūna Kufr* *The best of your rulers are those whom you love & they love you, who pray for you & you pray for them. The worst of your rulers are those whom you hate & they hate you, whom you curse & they curse you✅️It was said “Shall we confront them with swords?” The Prophet said:* *لَا مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ وُلَاتِكُمْ شَيْئًا تَكْرَهُونَهُ فَاكْرَهُوا عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ* *No🔥as long as they establish prayer among you. If you find something hateful from them, you should hate their actions BUT NOT withdraw your hand from obedience✅️SAHIH MUSLIM 1855✅️SAHIH*

ياشيخ شمسي، والله انا نحبك في الله لدفاعك عن دين الله تعالى، لكني فوجئت انك متأثر ببعض التوجهات المعروفة بنقد العلماء والدعاة هداهم الله، وهم جماعة معروفة أصلحهم الله، ولكن اعلم انه نص علماء السلف قديما وحديثا على انه لايحكم على الشخص بطائفة ما بمجرد موافقتهم في مسألة او عقيدة واحدة، فلايمكن ان تحكم على من رأى جواز الاحتفال بالمولد مثلا انه صوفي مباشرة، ولاتحكم على من تأول احدى الصفات الالهية انه اشعري مباشرة، ولا تحكم على من انكر على الوالي علانية انه خارجي مباشرة.. وهكذا، بل يقال: هذه عقيدة الخوارج والمتصوفة والاشعرية. ولك في رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أسوة حسنة في قصة حاطب بن ابي بلتعة رضي الله عنه الذي عمل ذنبا عظيما في مخالفته للحاكم وإخباره قريش بخروج جيش المسلمين لغزوهم، ولم يحكم عليه النبي بأنه خارجي (كما تحكمون دوما انتم وأمثالكم على اخوانكم الدعاة والفضلاء، مع اقراري ببعض أخطائهم)، بل قال عنه صلى الله عليه وسلم بعدما استأذن احد الصحابة ان يضرب عنقه، قال عن حاطب: (انه يحب الله ورسوله)!!! فأينكم من هدي النبي وصفاء قلبه وحسن سريرته؟! وكان هدي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اذا رأى خطأ ان يقول: مابال اقوام يفعلون كذا. واعلم انه لو اشتغل الدعاة والعلماء بتصنيفكم كما اشتغلتم انتم وامثالكم هداكم الله بتصنيفهم لما بقي طائفة الا دخلتم فيها ! ولكن ليس هذا من هدي المؤمنين ولا من هدي سلفنا الصالح. واعلم ياشيخ شمسي انك اذا حميت أعراض اخوانك المؤمنين فإن الله سيحمي عرضك وسيسخّر لك من يذود عنه، لأن الجزاء من جنس العمل، واذا انتهكت أعراضهم فإن الله سيسخّر من ينتهك عرضك (كما نسمع ما يقال عنكم). وفقك الله لكل خير، وجزاك خيرا عما تقدم، وهداك للحق .

This is what innovators do & this is the door through which they enter2️⃣BCUZ they exaggerated concerning the rulings of the Quran & the Sunnah & they exaggerated excessively✅️Ibn Umar on Rebels:The Khawarij apply verses about disbelievers against Muslims✅️AlBukhari reported: Ibn Umar RADIALLAHHUANHU considered the Khawārij rebels to be the worst of Allah’s creation & he said:“Verily they take verses that were revealed about UNBELIEVERS & use them against the BELIEVERS✅️Sahih Bukhari 6531* عن البخاري وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنه يَرَاهُمْ شِرَارَ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُمْ انْطَلَقُوا إِلَى آيَاتٍ نَزَلَتْ فِي الْكُفَّارِ فَجَعَلُوهَا عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 6531 صحيح البخاري كتاب استتابة المرتدين والمعاندين وقتالهم باب قتل الخوارج والملحدين بعد إقامة الحجة عليهم *Imam al-Baghawi (d516 AH/1122 CE)rahimahullah, mentioned in Ma'alim utTanzil vol 3 p61:IbnAbbas & Tawus stated:It is NOT the kufr which expels one from the Religion✅️Rather if one does it then he is a disbeliever, yet he is not like the one who disbelieves in Allāh & the Last Day✅️Shaykh'ul Islam Ibn Taymiyah (d. 728 AH/1328 CE) rahimahullah, stated in MajmuAlFatawa vol 7 p312:Therefore from the statements of the Salaf were:A person can have within him both īmān & kufr" & likewise within their saying: "that one can have within him both īmān & kufr, it is not the kufr which expels one from the Religion." Just as IbnAbbas & his companions (students) stated in regards to the saying of Allāh:"And whoever does not judge by what Allāh Has Revealed‼️then it is those who are disbelievers✅️Quran 5:44✅️They said it means: "They disbelieved with a type of kufr which does not expel one from the Religion" & Ahmad & other Imāms of the Sunnah followed him in that✅️Ibn Taymiyyah also said in MajmuAlFatawa vol 7, p522:IbnAbbas & others from the Salaf stated in regards to Allāh's saying:Whoever does not rule by what Allah Has Revealed, then they are the disbelievers✅️Quran 5:44✅️Whoever does not rule by what Allāh Has Revealed, then they are the transgressors✅️**5:45** ✅️Whoever does not rule by what Allāh Has Revealed, then they are the sinful✅️**5:47**✅️It is:🔥"kufr less than kufr, fisq less than fisq & dhulm less than dhulm✅️Imams Ahmad, Bukhari & others mentioned this✅️IbnTaymiyyah also said in MajmuAlFatawa, vol 7 p350-351:"He could be Muslim yet within him is kufr less than kufr which does not expel him from Islām absolutely, as the Companions said, such as Ibn 'Abbās and others: "kufr less than kufr" this is the saying of the generality of the Salaf and this is what Ahmad and others documented. This is also what al-Bukhārī bore testimony to in is Sahih✅️(Refer to: Imam Bukhari's chaptering in his Sahīh:Chapter:Kufr Towards Spouses & Kufr Less than Kufr.' Al Qādī Ibn al-'Arabī al-Mālikī stated in Fath ul Bārī, vol 1 p83:"The intent of the classifier (i.e. al-Bukhārī) is to explain that acts of obedience are named 'īmān' and likewise acts of disobedience are named 'kufr'. However, when kufr is applied in this instance the intent is not the kufr which expels from the Religion.")✅️A Study of the Tafsir of Ibn 'Abbās: Kufr Dūna Kufr* *The best of your rulers are those whom you love & they love you, who pray for you & you pray for them. The worst of your rulers are those whom you hate & they hate you, whom you curse & they curse you✅️It was said “Shall we confront them with swords?” The Prophet said:* *لَا مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ وُلَاتِكُمْ شَيْئًا تَكْرَهُونَهُ فَاكْرَهُوا عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ* *No🔥as long as they establish prayer among you. If you find something hateful from them, you should hate their actions BUT NOT withdraw your hand from obedience✅️SAHIH MUSLIM 1855✅️SAHIH*
