Thanks for doing these. I learned how to paint hydrangeas, which I have always tried to paint, but could never get it down. I will definitely give them a try now.

Shana, WOW! How beautiful! I really enjoyed watching you paint these hydrangeas and I cannot wait to try them. Every day, I look forward to our watercolour journal ‘entry’ and it never disappoints. Thank you so much for your videos; I have learned SO much since I started watching your excellent channel. 👏❤️🇨🇦💫

Shana, I'm loving your tutorials. Doing it in real time helps this beginner so much - I literally follow right along! Can you suggest how to paint a bank of azaleas? Stippling? Tiny dots? We have a grouping of them in our yard and I'd like to try them. Thank you for any help you can suggest!
@shanacirce26677 ай бұрын
Thank you! For your azaleas, depending on how big you are painting them you could definitely use a stippling, or larger loose blobs. :) You could paint in the greenery leaving white space where the flowers would go or paint the flowers and then fill in around with the greenery. Go out and look at your azaleas and take a picture then sit down and start playing in your sketchbook. Try not to get caught up in the tiny details. Happy painting!

I’m so jealous I can’t even draw a circle 🙁
@shanacirce26675 ай бұрын
You can definitely use some as a guide for the circular shape. Center of a tape roll works great! And organic things are never perfectly circular anyway. 😊
