What a phanta-city-c Idea! The stacked houses remind me of those colorful mediterranean villages that are built on hills along the coast. I will definitely try to follow your example and try to catch the Italian village vibes at the same time.

I like the round building on the right. I imagine it to be a museum amongst a bustling business district. Cool.

This video inspired me to do a version of this tonight. Fun and I am a beginner to watercolor so it definitely is a good practice of gradients and water control.

Shana, I really struggle with SEEING cool and warm colours. I don’t mean that I’m colourblind…..I’m not! But my sister can look at a colour and know right away which temperature it is. She can see the undertones as well. I think I can’t or I don’t feel confident with it!! Any suggestions? Does this inability hamper my art? HELLLLLLLLLP,!! 😂
@shanacirce7 ай бұрын
Don’t worry. This is tricky for so many people and it just comes with practice. Start with the basic colors red, yellow and orange - warm Blue, green, purple - cool. A good exercise is to sort the colors you own into these categories first. Then, once you have all your reds together see if you can sort them in the warm and cool versions of reds by looking at them. Then you can google the color Name with warm or cool to fact check your self. Like “Alizarin Crimson cool or warm?” I hope that helps a bit.
