That's the sad part. My splits sucks, yet I want to be able to handstand. I've been bending my knee with the leg that is away from the wall to compensate for my lack of flexibility.

splits don't come overnight, but with daily practice, they do. and you don't have to get "all the way in," but the work of the pose is the work of the pose and it all adds up! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4i1emmGdrGVd8U ALSO...the best way to get your splits, your handstands, and everything in between is to have a comprehensive yoga practice. no pose lives in a vacuum. 😂 i have over 150 unique classes on my union.fit channel that will get you into any goal pose. check it out! www.union.fit/orgs/yogathletica/videos

Your videos give me new ideas and it worked for me . I'm sure everyone watching your videos benefit from you . I have a question: Could you please tell me how to get rid of my wrist pain ? I injured my wrist a few days ago while doing handstand and i have stopped doing it since then .

@@nilanjandey5366 if the pain is excruciating, definitely ask a doctor. just know that it is VERY normal and common to have wrist pain within the first two years (0-2) of a very intense arm balance/inversion regimen. Wrists are not usually in hyperextension the way they are in handstands (with your full body weight on them, too!). One thing that helps, also, is to turn the hands out slightly (index finger pointing forward instead of middle finger) when applying pressure (including plank, chaturanga dandasana, etc.). Often, a wrist brace or wrap will do the trick. But definitely go to a doctor if you think that the pain is excruciating/debilitating. And back off of anything that hurts. That is your sign that you have gone too far. 🙏🙏
