Shane said he was the hottest heel in the industry in 96? ECW wasn't national and were only drawing maybe a couple thousand people so idk how he thinks that?

@Mastodon1976 It's hard to be the hottest heel in the industry when you're wrestling in an organization that a lot of people didn't even know existed. I live in Arizona and in 1996 I had no idea who Shane Douglas even was?

@Mastodon1976 I was 19 in 1996 and I had never even heard of ecw and neither did about half of the country. Calling him the best heel is about like giving an mvp award to a player on a losing team
