Shane's real family are in this video, that just proves how much of a great guy he is. I know it's cliched but he really is the nicest guy in pop. I met him when he was doing his books signings and it was a moment I'd waited almost all my life for and when it was my turn, I couldn't speak, I don't know why but despite this Shane was great. He was so kind to all his fans, talking to each of them individually and happily posing for photo's, he really is a unique human being. Anyone whose ever complained about any aspect of their life or has given up at the first hurdle should just read his autobiography, after everything that's happened in his life, he's never given up. A true inspiration. October 17th 2014 is a day I'll never forget and thank you Shane for making my dreams come true and inspiring me.

Oh I'm envy to you :(( But feeling good on the other side about his kindness to his fans. Yesterday I watched about Westlife story... Westlife manager, Louis Walsh & a man from Hot Press said that Westlife really treat their fans very well, very nice & polite. They will stay and sign for hours and hours for fans. iv just finished reading 'my side of life' & wow, what an incredible journey & what a life !!! this guy is humble, honest, grateful & very likeable, he has been thru so much pre, post & during Westlife & has remained a true star & a true gentleman throughout. I was lucky enough to meet & work with Westlife in Dec04/Jan05 (making the suede & leather outfits for the 'number ones tour') so felt a strong bond & connection to him & his story. been a fan for 16 years never got to see u growing up (cant say why) so i made do with my westlife cds.... until march 2014! my first concert aged 26 and u were more than perfect..... it was magical,...i love all ur music and i love u shane... then u selected me to win tickets to meet and greet u in cork on 11th july... i was shocked (still am) u are perfection and melted my heart.... i love u more now :-p it was well worth the 9 hour round trip from belfast to cork and home again (got back at 4am) and im going to both ur dates in belfast in december
