He’s so honest about his West Point experience. I’m a USAF Academy graduate, D1 wrestler. When you go to basic training for a service academy it is a SERIOUS blast to your entire world. If you’re a big guy it would have to be tragic. I was a little guy, wiry wrestler who could run my ass off. 6800 feet at USAFA. ALL the big dudes were crying. So was I, but I just luckily could hang in there because I could take massive punishment and I was little. West Point is not tougher, it’s just tough for big guys. It’s “not that hard” but as he said, if you don’t want to be there AND are not ready to take the mental pressure, it’s tough to hang. It’s what I love about Shane. He’s so honest about it and so, so many people are not. Props. Big props.
