Vernon was just a bad matchup for Shane, just like Thomas Hearns would’ve been for Floyd Mayweather. I just think Pryor’s style would’ve gave Shane serious problems, and Shane wasn’t knocking out Pryor. I was a huge fan of Mosley growing up. Even trained at the same gym with him in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. He was a helluva fighter at all weight classes he fought at, but he was destroying everyone at lightweight.

@jamaaldavis3222 Yea I was scheduled to go to the Hopkins vs Trinidad fight September 15th, 2001 Madison Square Garden. Then September 11 hit that Tuesday and the fight was postponed a couple weeks. I end up watching the fight at buddies friend crib here in St. Louis That was the first unification of the Middleweight division since Hagler in the 80s .

I used to this young woman who sometimes model or did commercials, she hated Oscar because he hit on her or something while she did the ring girl thing. She wouldn't tell me exactly what happened but she did not Oscar or his wife.
