@@Mathewkortxo A good and harmonic backswing (not to fast and precise) and of course "pushing through the ball" after that helps a lot to become a better player. But it's not easy and requires a lot of practice, even if it doesn't look difficult at first glance.

Love his commentary! But I could see why he might avoid mosconi cup. The crowd gets pretty ridiculous. In a match between Shaw and Strickland, someone kept yelling "BORING" anytime anyone played a safety.

In the "old days" of televised games, I would criticize him in the comments by calling him "Old Yeller" - used to drive me nuts with his loudness... I'm glad he took it to heart, more recently, as he's a very knowledgeable commentator.

Not sure what the commentators are talking about @20:35 regarding the “friendly kiss” from the 5. The cue ball would have settled in a very similar spot had the collision with the 5 not happened so it didn’t make much difference that he ran into it. I don’t know why they’re yapping about luck.
