If I heard correctly (46:40) I don't like the referee having a subjective view of the break being "too soft". I think I found the current rules for this event online and all it says is "players must use a forceful break". Really, that's too vague. They're going to start using speed radar before too long lol.
@9BallBory2 жыл бұрын
Soft breaks are not allowed, theres a cut off

I mean how tf are you going to measure if the break has passed the hardness test? By measuring the speed of the cueball with a bloody machine?

Dude seriously this rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn't even break that hard if I tried, that which was considered a "soft break". either have an objective measure of what hard and soft is in this sport or shove it. brb using freakin' seismographs and speedometers in pool to judge if the break was hard enough lol... But seriously, either invest in a tangible way to actually determine if it was good or not or you shouldn't be able to warn players about an opinion of what one judge could or could not consider "soft".

You guys keep uploading INTERLACED footage. It creates the zebra stripe artifacts when you see motion. This is really amateurish for an event with such polish. I have to comment on something Kelly said at the 3:00 minute mark. She said that Shane missed the 3 ball by “quite a way.” What is she talking about?!!! That miss probably equates to about 1 or 2 millimeters at the contact point. Is she watching the same thing the rest of us are?

Not in love with that jump for the one ball in lower left pocket when a rail shot could've been a two way. Then using outside on it to the lower right for opposite corner. A gentle inside could give pos. on the two, but, so it goes

@@johndenver752 I tried them all before I made a decision. I'm not so much concerned about deflection either, I'm an old school player who cares more about feel. With deflection, I just automatically compensate, i.e if I'm putting heavy right spin on the cue ball, I just naturally aim a bit left on the object ball. That's how I learned to play. The Cynegery just felt better than the others. I've been playing it a year now and can do anything I need to do with the cue ball. I love the Sniper Tip that comes with the Cynergy as well.
