Just look at the childish enthusiasm and joy on Shane's face and in his voice. His eyes just lit up. There's a man who loved life, loved his sport and loved his art. When the thousands at the Oval in 2005 were all chanting "We wish you were English" at him, they weren't wrong. Even as an Englishman, I miss him so much. Watching these clips make me well up. Sky put up another one a few days ago, of Shane and Tendulkar having a quick middle practice together around the time of the MCC vs RoW match where they captained the sides. R.I.P. king.
