Watto was a fine player of spin. Anything short he would pounce on the backfoot and pounce on it. He's one of the very few batters who has dominated Rashid Khan who is a by no means a bad bowler (arguably the best ever T20 spinner and still going). Didn't really nail it at test level but when he was injury free he was one of the top all-rounders going around.

Why do majority of Indians value shane Watson only after his 2-3 seasons stint at CSK?! And not before that when he won plenty more than he did at CSK?? It's like you recognise him only after 2018! He won the IPL in its very first season, he's scored more centuries and hattricks playing for Rajasthan, he's won the champions league in 2009 with new South Wales, he's a multiple time world champion and champions trophy winner with australia and multiple times the cricketer of the year.. He did more everywhere else in comparison to after joining CSK.. why not before that? Do you not watch any other matches other than CSK ones?? That's kinda disrespectful to the legend that is shane watson!

I was a big fan of SR Watson he is my fav player. He didn't get much popular in the ipl before the CSK team. because when he is playing in RR and RCB other players didn't perform well too when he played. in the team all players have to perform well too then only the team will win. Because of Watson Rcb has reached the finals. They leave Watson for leaking runs in the finals. He is an all-rounder and opening batsman, not a genuine bowler it's their mistake for not having good bowlers and there are other 10 players too if they bat and bowl well they would have won the final. They make him bat in the middle order and say he didn't score. They threw the blame on him and leave him. CSK uses him well and other players also performed well when he was not playing and they didn't make him sit on the bench when he was not playing well. I was not a fan of CSK but i have to accept the truth.
