For that reason he dropped him And where as Dhoni in 2018 when Watson bowled few matches he realized that he might get injured if he bowl's, so he just let him be that specialist batsmen and trusted in that way, even if he didn't scored runs in 2019 in most of the matches he kept faith in his mate Bec of the kind of experience he has, which almost took them to home in the final! That's the difference between virat and Dhoni, even now we can see, one bad performance and the players are out of the team, that's ridiculous, it's just that we are getting results doesn't mean everything is rightly going, it will affect in the long run!

Shane Watson is a living example of why Dhoni is a captaincy legend and Captain Kohli is still a Work in progress. Such a strong opening Batsman was made to bat at 5 at Rcb and asked to bowl his medium pacers in the death overs in Bangalore. If his 20 run over cost Rcb the title in 2016, his 117* opening the innings won Csk the final in 2018

He's played 12 seasons at Bangalore and still hasn't realised that its a batting paradise and you need to score 200-220 to give your bowlers something to defend. Can't blame bowlers if you are going to open with Parthiv and score 170. Not every bowler is a Bumrah or Malinga who are expert with nailing their yorkers with their unorthodox action

Watto never fully lived up to his promise. In 2003/04 he was touted to be the next great all-rounder. He was good with the ball, but in batting, he let himself and Australia down many times. Only 4 test tons don't do justice to his abilities. His ODI record however, is fantastic. 2 WC wins, 2 CT wins. He was initially named in the 2003 WC squad as well. An unfulfilled talent.
