Apparently, Chinchilla had a very difficult parting with her record company, and this song is about that. The "got a gun from a gangster" line is about Ren showing her the benefits of going independent! This song is about the industry.

I am very selective about an artist to follow and I can count them on less than two hands, and Chinchilla is on top. When the accompanying singers begin the "Little Girl Gone Got a gun from a Gangster" the scene is just silhouetted against the dark red background and she enters with a legato (in contrast to the other singers) with a soft smooth "little girl gone" and the harmony is perfect... I am in tears every time, It is an excellent style choice and she projects why, to only be the intro into an entire ending, extended solo where she takes it up with the pitch and drops her entire body, tempo, and voice down in such deliberate delivery of each word was better than I expected and I expected A LOT. The arrangement with Ze on the lower 9th in tension... fantastic. Thank you for mentioning not just her music, but that this is a song that explicitly refers to a powerful message that luckily is being heard by people around the world. Not enough. Great reaction.
