Ominous is my word! I feel this so much deeper than the other version. I used to do therapy with abused women and helping them find that deep voice was so liberating for both of us.

I think this version, you feel the vulnerability under the bravado. I think that's why I like it so much more than the super produced version which pretty much focused only on the bravado.

Chinchilla likes to "freshen" her live performances, something she has in common with Ren. Chinchilla's voice is just stupid good. That's Ze U'Chong on keyboard. Not sure, but I believe he also played for her "Fingers" live. Thanks Izzy!

I just had a hip replacement and it amuses me that I keep hearing Chinchilla saying: "I get stronger every day". People ask how I am doing and I say: "I get stronger every day". Her songs are just part of me now. Ren is that way too. During any discussion I can say: "I have a good quote for you about that" and my friends say: "Ren again". I've turned into my mom who had a song for everything.
