Thank you for this song. I am a human traffic survivor. I can tell you there is a God. He reached out to me and miraculously saved me from a captor in a foreign country. He made a way. My husband has been hospitalized now for nearly 4 months recovering from a motorcycle accident. He was so fit and healthy before this, now frail, no muscles and still can't swallow, stand or walk. We both love and trust Jesus, have for many years. When you lose about everything you learn how much you really have in Christ and that it's truly sufficient. That it's enough, and that's it's all we need to survive anything. There is nothing negative in Christ because we have Christ, and He has us. Yes, there are trials and tragedy, but with Christ we are rich in grace and all things are always possible. Trust Him with your very breath, He is worthy of it all.

Everyone seems to be giving their testimony so I will too. I was angry at God for taking my three sons on two separate occasions. I struggled with him for months in grief and rage until he showed me that he couldn't hate me because he sent his son to die for me...the only proof he gives for his love to me. A year after that I realized that there is no goodness within me and felt guilt for shaking my fist at God in my losses, but trusted in Jesus to save me when the day comes...and now I understand and believe in the gospel. Now my broken heart can sing again for the first time in years. Praise God for his love demonstrated in nothing else but the cross of Jesus Christ. I realized that I was depending on Jesus' love for me being shown in external circumstances, protection and answered prayer, but those are so fragile, and if you rely on them to tell you God loves you, when he takes them away you will think he doesn't. Not anymore. The cross is my salvation and hope. God does love me and now I love him too.

so when i accepted Christ as Savior july 18 1981 I was in the ICU after someone came into my store and attacked me. the only song i could remember from my Catholic days was HOLY HOLY HOLY so that is what I worshiped with joy . It is always my favorite song to the LORD, even though it use to scare me. Just an in site after singing and thanking HIM I asked my favorite ? "what next" His answer was "forgive" I did and to this day pray for my attacker i expect to see him in HEAVEN. By the way my face was so swollen that I couldn't see for 3 days when they let me go home after 6 I only had 1 tiny little scar after 39 stitches in my face and scalp. Give your life to JESUS don,t wait to get hit in the head. Just saying.

Thank you for singing this . This song has been our family life line in the hardest of time . It's the son we sleeped trained our son to. It's so meaningful as so many tears have been shed from a hurting mother's heart. You see. Our son Ezekiel was taken 26 hrs from birth from child protection services due to family coming against me . We fought for over a year to get him home . We were not allowed to sleep there where he was staying . We couldn't even be alone with him . But me and my husband were there almost every night praying , crying , and rocking our little boy until God decided to give our first born was given back to us . Through the grace of God our son came home the day after Easter a year and 4 months from the day he was taken . Tonight I find myself reliving this as I am morning the time I lost and the time the tramua takes from me . We are in the process of getting my other children from a different marriage and are preparing for life to change again . God is working on this tramua but this is so hard . This is one of the things giving me comfort in these moments . I do f have a support system dealing with all this with two littles is hard . Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate and pray that my heart will heal .

My intelligent talented faithful husband introduced me to this song of worship some years ago. I was not brought up Christian but once he brought this hymn to my attention I have never stopped thinking about it or listening to it. There is so much corruption in this fallen world however this song in purity helps to cleanse us in hopes of salvation for eternity with Jesus and our loved ones in heaven and in the coming of the new heaven and new earth.
