Okay but why does Jared bring an unexpected sense of like “safe” or like comfortability to the table. Like he offers such a safe space and invites any opinion or or discussion with open arms, and then his straight-forward-ness is iconic 🤘🏻

You're perfectly imperfect, no one can make every single person happy 100% of the time, some people find negativity in everything they see. there's open conversations....and then there's giving people with truly awful viewpoints a platform. This was absolutely fantastic. Everyone brings such a different view point and it balances amazingly well. Because of this, I think it would be good for you all to talk about issues facing men. As a group of very different men, it would be great to hear your views on things like pressure to look good, weight problems and things around mental health & wellbeing as men are bad at talking about their feelings and what’s on their mind and there’s not enough men doing it. I hope this made sense and I hope you read this because I loved this video and I think adding something like this would be really helpful to many men and women would like to hear it also if it a topic they are worried about approaching with the men in their lives. Sending you all love from Scotland.

No freaking way!!! Ahhhhh it’s nearly midnight here and I’m trying not to scream the place down haha. That’s so nice of you, thank you. I also thought of something else…. This doesn’t have to be all the time but I love podcasts and listen to a lot of them. Why does nobody have a regular member of the public/ a listener as a guest on the show. You could set up a video call and that person could interact either with the entire episode or just on a segment. Not like a phone in that some people do but as an actual guest to add to the mix. It could happen even happen just a couple of times a series of it’s difficult to set up/source but maybe when you have extreme topics to discuss, it will add another viewpoint and voice. Everyone always says they feel like their your friend because they’ve followed your work for so long. Plus as it’s a very chill group of guys, it would be like adding another ingredient to the cake mix. Maybe one week it can be a female guest to add their viewpoint. Or someone from another country, that way you will enrich the conversation and show a wide range of opinions and thoughts. There’s maybe a reason no podcasts have regular people and i get celebrity interviews are great and still have them but with the vibe of this podcast I think a listener guest could really add something extra special. Hit me up if you wanna try it out haha. Sorry for the long message, I’m just thrilled for you in this new adventure.

@@ThatChrisPryce there are some pods I listen to that implement this idea. One that comes to mind right away is the Endless Honeymoon Podcast. They do voicemail dumps where ppl tell their secrets. BUT they also allow listeners ONTO the pod via Zoom for any advice on relationships, life, etc.

Shane something I don’t think you realize and I wouldn’t write this if I didn’t truly mean it, I know the majority of your fans feel this way- you have a natural ability to entertain. It’s not just when you are being funny, it’s everything. I would watch a camera set up in your house just filming your daily life, straight up Truman show style, and I would be totally intrigued and interested. You are just a very likable, very charismatic, charming and endearing person. So when you feel like you have to come up with ideas or try to be funny or say things for shock factor etc.… You honestly don’t need any of that… You literally just need to be yourself and we are all here for it. I freaking love that you have a podcast please keep doing it. Thank you for all the content, you are my all time favorite KZbinr to watch no question. Edit: whatever you do with this podcast please have Jered be a part of it. He is hilarious, you guys are just seem like the sweetest people who happen to be crazy funny without even trying. I think Shane is funny and his content is entertaining without the shock value. I don't think Shane should shy away from complex and controversial topics or even using humor to get through them. However, I do think it can be tricky to handle heavy topics carefully, especially with humor. I think Shane understands this better now and that this new podcast will do well. 🙏💙
